OBDII / Seat removal

Mercedes of Long Beach wanted $175 to reset mine. Additional on top of Service A.
Needless to say I am just living with the light.

Thanks for the warning. I just installed a swivel on the driver's side and reconnected the seat electronics to see the warning light. Had anyone figured out how to reset without the dealer?

Which Zurich model worked to clear the air bag light? Thanks

Zurich ZR13 from Harbor Freight did the trick and cleared the air bag error message. (We removed the driver seat without disconnecting the battery.) Now I have the ZR13 for other vehicles as well. https://www.harborfreight.com/zr13-obd2-code-reader-with-abssrsfixassist-63806.html. The unit I purchases did not need a firmware update.
