Exactly. Our Metris seems to be wired up differently than our Vito brother. That looks like it can mean animations might not happen on a Metris.

OP, you're right no time coming back to the forum. I was looking at these and wondered if they'd work proper with the Metris tail light wiring vs Vito. Did you get the Red or Smoke version of this?

Did you have to break of anything to get the lights to fit swing out doors? Just plug and play? Another thread here the OP said he had to cut a small piece of plastic off another style LED lights (direct fit for light gate) for fitting our doors.
