I'm sorry if this is well worn topic and I somehow missed it... my search did not pick up any recent threads.
I leased a Metris for years and want another but this time, for my own reasons I can't be talked out of, i'd like to wait for 4 wheel (or all wheel) drive.
So I generally read a lot of metris campers reviews and news. And on more than one occasion I've read something like this in reputable publications... "But there are rumors that more small vans—most notably the Mercedes Metris—will offer all-wheel drive soon." Reference example here.
I even spoke with a Peace Vans employee at one point and got a vague... "You did not hear it from me but "soon". This was a couple years ago 😢
I figured I'd ping you all here to see if anyone knows ANYTHING about potential Metris 4x4 or AWD plans. Anyone?🤞
