Possible? Anything is possible except for skiing through a revolving door.
This would, however, likely be somewhat impractical. The reason is that those controls are part of a dash mounted control console, including a different driver information display and computer. You'd have to dissassemble the dash and replace the instrument cluster with the appropriate equipment, you might have to replace the column itself, and of course the steering wheel. You may also have to retrofit additional wires between the dash control and the stereo, or splice wires into the CANbus.
The equipment needed to have the difference is not incredibly more expensive then the equipment that you have, nor is it complicated to install... when the dash is out of the car and you are assembling the stripped vehicle. However, in order to sanely install this once the car is together, you would likely have to take that entire thing apart again.
And of course you are going to have to buy the superior parts at full retail, and the inferior parts aren't going to be worth that much as nobody is really looking to downgrade their steering wheel control equipped van to one that isn't.
