Dealer says my new van is built. He has no idea how long it will take to arrive in the US. Any experience from others who have ordered? Getting anxious.

Nov. 12th my dealer said my Metris was made but not shipped. He guessed mid to late December delivery. It (evidently) hasn't arrived as of today.
Ordered - August 24
Built - October 10
Still sitting at the port to be shipped - October 26
Arrived in Ladson, SC - November 24
Released - December 1

Now I'm impatiently waiting for it to arrive "any day now".

It arrived this morning - December 12.

I went and saw it. But it'll still be another week or so before I drive it home. I'm having it upfitted and wrapped.

I'd love to know more about your upfitting and wrap. Can you tell me a little about what you're doing, and how much the upfitting and wrap are costing you individually? I'll definitely wrap. I maaaay upfit.

Thank you!
Shipping

Hi, I just ordered mine this morning, and my salesman pick one of unfrozen order made on Nov. 22 and I was able to make change and add equipments. The van is suppose to be buil on January 7th or around and he told me that will be 4-6 weeks to get it here in Québec. So it's probably the same transit time. Also I'm looking to buy Hood deflector, does anyone have the part number from MB? Thanks!

I'm just having a Ranger shelving system installed in the back and a ladder rack on top. That comes out to around $5K. The wrap and install is about $1700.
My brother's first mid-sized commercial van was built on 5 march and it was shipped by auto shipping California services on 5 April. He had hired a car shipping California services because he knows that if the dealer will transport then it will take time, that's why on the recommendation of his friend, he had visited at the official site of We Will Transport It, where he had found out that they supply high quality of shipping services at an affordable price.
