Guy I just bought my 2017 Metris from didn't bother with a floor liner. And he ran a yard service, so the equipment scratched up the floor and wheelhousing, down to shiny metal. The scratches are individually small, but lots of 'em.
I plan to add a liner, but don't want to leave this stuff to slowly rust while it's out of sight. Plus it looks bad when we sell it down the road, like the van was rode hard and put up wet, even though it's actually very low mileage and won't get hard use from us.
Recommendations? Could I spot-treat with a rust-inhibitor spray, then just prime/paint the whole floor so it looks OK again? Product suggestions?
Appreciate any and all advice.
