Thanks for the answer. The reason I was wondering is that the ground clearance without a load is minimal and I couldn't visualize what a full load would look like with a standard suspension.

Our road side van has like 10 batteries or so and it lowers like an inch or two. The tire ends up following the wheel arch line if that helps visualize.

I'm pretty sure that ground clearance is given at max GVWR because it's nowhere near that on my unladen car.
