Does anyone know the legalities around installing a pop up roof on my Metris Cargo Van
I also want to add a folding 'seat into bed' plus a removable cooker / sink unit. A small simple RV conversion.

I was told that cutting out the roof could void the warranty?

If you're engine fails, they can't blame the pop top. If you're trans quits, they can't blame the hole in your roof.

You're warranty is fine.

It depends on your dealer and MB, but I am sure it will void anything that goes wrong as a result of the change. Such as rust problems.
