Hey everyone,

New to this forum, I got my metris cargo van 1.5 months ago, I bought it second hand and it now has 73K km.

The check engine light turned on last week and I got the P22AA code.

I can't find a reliable source on the internet and I was wondering if any of you have had that fault code and how were you able to fix it?

It seems to be a NOx sensor heating, but I want to make sure that I have the right information before calling the workshop.

I can't find much on that code. But if its the same code my GLK250 diesel had a while back, (similar) then its potentially a failed NOx sensor. (or two) They usually get replaced in pairs.

All Metris (Vito) vans sold in the USA so far are powered by the M274 gas turbo engine, so no diesel emissions components to be found.
