Right now is prime time to be on the look out for Metris upfitting brochures.
When searching, searching specifically for the following will bring up options as they become available for what ever your needs may be.
"Contractor upfit"

I think he was reffering to aftermarket however...
upfitterportal.com should have more information up soon. Currently it's only showing Sprinter upfitting info.

DO you know by chance if an auxiliary fuse panel, AGM battery or HD alternator is available on the Metris?
Aftermarket was what I had in mind and so far been able to find one source for them, and if there's that one I can bet there are others online by now.

Shameless plug - Ranger Design launched Mercedes-Benz Metris Upfit packages at the March 2015 NTEA show in Indianapolis. Packages are specifically designed for contractors, service, electrical, HVAC and delivery markets.
