For the first episode of “Meals on Wheels – Delicious insights by Marco Polo.” top chef Louis Tikaram from L.A. and the new Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo are on an exciting journey to explore the culinary specialties of Northern Portugal. He travels to the vineyard Niepoort in the Douro Valley, where he prepares the regional stock “Rancho” in his kitchen on wheels – the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo.

For the second episode of “Meals on Wheels – Delicious insights by Marco Polo.” top chef Caroline Artiss from Los Angeles and the new Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo are on search for some real traditional Swedish food. On the small island Utö, food blogger Emmie Söderström shows her the secret behind preparing Swedish Stekt Strömming, pan-fried Baltic herring. The cooking is done in Caroline’s kitchen on wheels: the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo.

Great videos! Are there pictures of the complete interior? I want to take a look at the kitchen layout.
Cool that you can do that much in there. I bet it smells good in there.

I'm always happy to see all that's possible with the Metris. It's inspiring.

Thanks for posting.

It's all about efficient use of space, i'm seeing it more and more these days especially with how new homes have their layout setup.
The pull out table makes for great counter and dining space. Fold-able furniture if the future of vacation vans!
Don't think I saw a sink in the first video so that may be why they were able to fit a table and the girls in the second one had to chop their food outside.
