I would at least get the rear windows to go with your rear view mirror. :D
And a passenger side window would be nice too. Serious, the visibility sucks in the Metris.

Depends on your use. I got mine with a full bulkhead, two sliding doors and no windows in the cargo area. Reason: security. I put SlickLocks on and it's a pretty secure space with no visibility inwards. Now, that means now visibility outwards as well, but it's not a big deal for me with the rear camera and convex mirrors on both sides.

did you allow for any kind of wall protection?

In my particular situation ;
I have been driving cargo vans with no rear windows since 1985 .
With regards to ordering a rear view mirror when you order no rear windows ;
I like this so I can glance back at my cargo , without having to turn my head towards the rear of the vehicle.
With regards to why no rear or side windows ; it is all about security .
I carry very expensive cargo , and sometimes , I have to park in sketchy areas .
The concept of reducing , what eyes on the sidewalk can see within my vehicle ,
combined with eliminating windows being smashed by those same prying eyes ,
are my two main reasons for how I set up my new Metris.

Interesting you mention wall protection .
I walked into the dealer , with the CARGO PROTECTION PACKAGE ( full sidewall panels ) as part of my order setup .
What the dealer and I learned is ,
On the Standard Wheel Base Metris in 2018 , like 2017 ; the Cargo Protection Package has full side boards ;
BUT …….. with the 2018 LONG WHEEL BASE option Full Side Board protection is not available , Only lower side boards can be had with a Long Wheel Base Option .

I found this out the hard way too on my EWB order from January when I tried to add the Con-Pearl VA3 full height paneling. It's in the DOG, but they deleted it from the 135 WB. Here's my build, due for assembly 6/10/18:

135 WB base navy blue, black bumpers, steel wheels

C01 Driver Comfort pkg
X04 Multifunction Steering
X27 Add'l Battery
X50 ECO Stop/Start (no choice with body builder pack)
EK! body builder connector
FF1 storage tray
FS5 Illuinated vanity mirrors
F61 rear view mirrors
HH4 authoatic climate control
H00 warm air duct to rear
LC2 LED in rear
LC4 Premium overhead panel
LC7 Fron footwell lighting
MS1 Cruise Control
Q24 trailer hitch
W54 270 doors
W70 Rear side window tint
W78 Rear door window washer wiper

When did they say you'd get delivery? They're telling me as late as September!

IDK, I put my Safety and well being over the chance of somebody breaking into my van. You can use limo tint and cages over the windows, if that's your main concern. Also, alarms are nice. But, if your okay driving with low visibility that's fine. Personally, I don't like it and seriously the metris mirrors suck. They should have made them taller, But, I guess you'll find out soon enough. :laugh:
