Dewalt factory rep? Hey I noticed you removed your floor. Why did you do that? Did you notice more noise? I've thought about because I don't really need it and it's heavy. Your van and setup looks fantastic.

Why would you remove the partition? Do you want all those tools hitting you in the head during a roll over accident?

I believe if your Cargo didn't come with the partition, you'll also need the lower cross member, upper bracket and screws (9, 4, 5, 10).

As much as I find cons with the factory partition (#1 is that 1-2 inch less seat travel), I still keep it in 99% of the time for that safety reason. With high speed crash and rollovers, even the most 'secured' load can still pose a dangerous situation. ESPECIALLY rollovers. Another plus is the van is quicker to heat and cool since you're not providing climate control for the rear cargo area. With that said, I've pretty much mastered removing and installing the partition by myself in just a couple minutes.
