Are there any tips about installing aftermarket driving lights , or the mb illuminated emblem for my 2018 metris?

Not to take this off topic. I'm actually stunned that those lights are for sale in the UK and care claimed to be legal for on road use in the UK / EU.
Afaik any extra lighting besides what comes from the factory is strictly for off road and private road / terrain use only.

Well, if you need them off road they are nice to have.

We added a couple lights from Harbor Freight and cut them into the grill. Had to add a bar behind them, which isn't pretty but the little 3" LED lights are excellent for their purpose and the writing is easy.
