I thought I'd put in my third grade elementary school sewing skills to the test, and make myself some interior curtains. Wish me luck, I will need it.

Questions for those who have curtains and have experiences with those:

- Should I go for a design that has a curtain rail only on the top or one that has a guiding rail on both top and bottom? Top only seems easier but then the curtains may not fall along the window because of the van curvature.

- What are some recommended curtain rail hardware and best places to buy?

- I'm thinking of imbedding magnets to hold them in place and away from the windows when not in use. Any experiences you have with those would be helpful.

There are some posts/photos I found on this forum already, but any additional information/photos are welcome. Even for other vans not necessarily just the Metris. I'll share my experience here should I succeed or fail.

I think Peace Vans curtains are done well. They use curtain track like what you would find at Sailrite.

Thanks for the Sailrite recommendation @pounce . I will have a look again at some point. I got sidetracked with another project. I agree that the Peace Van curtains look very good. I wonder how careful you have to be when screwing in the top rails to the headliner so you don’t interfere with the airbags. Something else to plan and think about. It never gets dull with a Metris project.

I went with shades that pop into the windows with magnets and strips. If you don't need curtains on the daily I think it's much easier to forgo the rails altogether.
