Right after purchasing the vehicle I noticed this creaking plastic noise from the rear hatch when going 20-40MPH. I got rear ended and the noise went away. When I got the rear hatch repaired it was back to driving me crazy with its creaking noise. I do sound mixing for a living and pride myself on being able to tamper down noise, but have had no success.

Has anyone else experienced this? Has anyone found any fixes?

Thx!

Two things to try. Stuff some foam weather-stripping tape around a few edges of the plastic interior door liner. The platic liner (especially on the passenger vans) can make quite a racket. That's the easy bit. A bit more difficult would be adjusting the door latch/strikers. Best have the body shop or dealership do that bit. As a "quick and dirty" test you can close the rear door(s) against a rag or towel and go for a drive. If it's quiet, then you know it's door adjustment time!
