Brake fluid change

I don't think it matters, but I used a Motive. Manual calls for 2.0 bar pressure and the sequence is
1. rear right
2. front left
3. rear left
4. front right

Bleeder screw listed closing torque is 14 Nm. Actually was quite easy to do.

I'm curious why the brake bleed procedures don't mention anything about running the ABS pump using a scan tool. I've heard a lot of other cars are supposed to do that during the procedure to make sure new fluid is moved through there. Now, it really may be optional for just a fluid change...

I also recently purchased an iCarsoft MB V2.0 scan tool, and there is "ABS bleed" as one of the main service apps, but no options to use on Metris/Vito nor the Sprinter. What happens if parts are replaced and air is introduced into the area around the ABS pump? Is there a procedure to deal with that, or is it self-bleeding?
