I just got some Metris seats. They pretty much bolt right in to a Chevy van. :)

However, they did not come with the bolt for the seat belt that attaches to the inboard bracket on the seat. I tried M12 coarse and that's not it. I can try M12 fine (1.5) but I'd rather have someone confirm the size of the bolts before I drive all over creation looking for bolts. 12.9 Metric bolts are hard to find here.

And if anyone has the OEM part # or source for the original bolt I'd take that too. Ebay has them, but again without knowing the part # it's a crap shoot.

And if anyone needs Metris seats, get a hold of Warehouse Salvage in Mishiwaka, IN. They have a container full of brand new cloth pulls.

M12 is too big. There seems to be a lot discussion about an M11x1.25 being the correct bolt. And as you say, it's apparently not a thing except for a handful of Japanese cars and the Metris seat belt bolt. Could be some engineer decided to make it to an unobtainable spec so Joe Thumbfingers wouldn't use a cheap bolt.
