I am getting the "Blind Spot Assist Inoperative" message on my 2017 Metris. I found this video in another post
Mercedes Benz blind spot assist inoperative error explained

and some videos on youtube like this one

those were helpful in finding the sensors, which are visible up under the interior corners of the rear bumper... I can reach them with my hands, not easy but should be possible to replace.

does anyone know the part number for replacement Metris blind spot sensor?

that's a good point. ha. thanks. yeah, but it be helpful to have the part # beforehand, so I can price / order and swap out. This is for a 2017 Metris cargo.

I Googled the part, plugged in year, model, yada, yada and this popped up but has warnings about fitment. Sit down before looking at price.

I have same problem on passenger side, but no error message; just doesn't work. Dealer was hesitant to start throwing parts at it without a fault code since, yeah, expensive. Can you really replace sensor without removing bumper? Very tight in there.
