Auto headlights Inoperative is displayed in cluster, radio buttons do not light up, and cluster is at full brightness and won't dim, also found fuse for over head lights blown but that has been replaced. Head lights are currently on at all times and cannot be turned off. Shop diagnosed the light sensor which I replaced and the message is still there among all the other issues. Does the light sensor have to be recalibrated or programed when a new one is installed? I drive a 2016 Metris passenger. I have check all the other fuses and have found nothing else at fault yet Has anyone heard of this strange combination of problems all at once?

It wouldn’t surprise me if the system required calibration. It doesn’t really seem like something that would, but this is a product of German engineering.
