Just wondering if there are any Metris owners in the Hartford area and curious about where you get your vans serviced. Don't see many on the road here especially the Getaway versions.

I have a 2020 Getaway. So far the only service has been a warranty issue and oil change. I went to the MB dealer in Hartford. Surprisingly, they had never seen a Getaway.[/QUOTE]
Glad to hear they work on the Metris. When I called to inquire about servicing my van the nice young lady wasn't sure what it was and she would have to check.

I live in West Hartford and have a 2016 8 seat passenger with 205K miles. I have used Joes Foreign Car Repair in Newington CT 953-2481 ask for Pat. I use him for tune ups, oil changes, brakes and minor repairs like door lock actuators. He recommended someone else when I needed muffler work. I go to Town Fair for tires because this van eats tires. Toyo is the best tire I have found with the best warranty. If you have tranny issues (mine just started), you will need to go to the MB dealership. I go to New Country in Hartford and if you need to use the dealership for any service... ask for Chris (very helpful). I am currently working on getting my instrument cluster display screen fixed (there is a very helpful thread in this forum).

Hi Steely. Thanks for the tips. Great to know they last for over 200K. I'm in Glastonbury and just bought a used 2021 Getaway. Did use New Country for the 30K service. Pricey but lots of maintenance done so can't complain. Real happy with the power and handling. My only beef is the Audio40 unit is a piece of crap! Apple CarPlay is a joke, my iPod doesn't connect and just cancelled SiriusXM because it didn't work either. Reminds me of my '51 Ford were I could only get ball games and static on the AM radio.

Did the dealer complete the service on your head unit?
Still waiting for the parts to come in for the USB module and windshield which is 3 weeks out. On the MBWorld.org website there are many TSBs on a variety of complaints relating to the Metris Infotainment System Audio 30/40. Pioneer site related to the unit lists all the wonderful features it has. The dealer informed me that the unit was working to specs and there was no update to system. So I guess working to spec means non-functionality.
