I got delivery of my new 2018 Metris last month and since winter is coming, decided to put 4 snow tires on the vehicle. I ordered the tires through the dealer, made an appointment to have them installed at the dealer, and had the job done. As I was paying the bill, I noticed they indicated on the work order the van had 4 bent rims. The van has 1200 miles on it, I drive like an old lady and don't remember any memorable collisions with a pothole. The Service Advisor said I must have hit one. Anyway, how does one pothole bend 4 rims? Are these rims that delicate that they can bend easily? My tires were balanced and I was told they were safe, so now I'm driving my new van with 4 bent rims that God know how they got that way. Any suggestions?
