I love my aftermarket head unit. Wireless android auto and carplay works every time.

 

I (being 1.5 hours away from the nearest dealer) would make a video of that issue in my driveway, publish it as a private video online and call my MB Service Advisor on that, shoot the link via email to him/her.

I consider it a serious safety issue, because you or your family member would lose navigation and communication, while driving on busy highways and unfamiliar areas ...

Only way to get a firmware update will be to press MB for one.

 

They sourced it from the same company that made the clock. Mine has a mind of its own...sometimes I cut the car off it keeps playing.

 

Keeps playing after you get out with the vehicle turned off?

Our MB stop playing music when I park and open the driver side door or a specific amount of time passes after engine shut down …

I’m having similar problems. Would you please take a look at your unit’s info menu and check the software version? Would like to know if your version is newer than what you see in my photo below. (Software version 2.40)
