Despite what you may have heard, more isn’t always better. Proving this point, the folks atMercedes-Benz revealed their 2017 Mercedes C-Class Coupe at the Frankfurt Motor Show. It’s got two fewer doors than its sedan counterpart and, accordingly, a lot more style.

Countless changes have been made compared to its predecessor and the latest sporty C-Class is bigger than before. Its wheelbase has been extended by more than three inches, its overall length is up by nearly four inches and it’s more than one-and-a-half inches wider. These changes provide an extra helping of interior space for all passengers. Keeping weight in check despite the growth spurt, its hood, fenders and trunk lid are rendered in aluminum.

Underneath all that swanky styling, the car’s suspension has been lowered by 15 millimeters compared to the C-Class sedan. The standard steel springs are stiffer as well.

Mercedes’ four-corner AIRMATIC suspension system is also available. With five different settings, the driver can tailor the vehicle’s chassis to his or her preference.

I was excited to see these ever since spy shots went live for the first time and it's amazing, great successor to the last one and the type of execution to keep it at the top of the pack.

Now to see what they have planned for the future with the C-Coupe.

It looks really good, but I expected as much. Two doors, lower to the ground, more interior space and lighter? Yes please.
