2016 Metris Tailgater
Hi Everyone,
A group of us tailgate for college football games together in the fall. We had been using my SUV, but loading and unloading it really beat it up. We decided to get something we could modify for our needs and not have to load and unload every weekend. The Metris was appealing because we are limited in the footprint that the tailgate is allowed to have, but needed to haul quite a bit of cargo. We bought a Metris and had a conversion done which we are happy with in terms of both appearance and function. A link to the completed van is attached, as well as a photo of it set up. Thanks to all who posted with their builds and ideas. It was really helpful to see what others had done.
